The rules
Five controls keep a comparison useful.
The method is deliberately conservative. It is designed to survive a procurement review and to make corrections straightforward when a product changes.
Start with an operating job
Every comparison begins with a buyer task—such as comparing technical requirements or closing a change—not a vendor category label.
Use first-party public evidence
Product pages, documentation, pricing and trust material take precedence. Third-party commentary can identify a question, but it does not prove a capability.
Separate products and services
A portfolio is not treated as one product. Software, managed services, advisory work and specialist surveillance are compared only where the jobs overlap.
State what is unknown
If a price, coverage detail or workflow is not on the reviewed pages, we say it was not found. Absence from a public page is not proof that a feature does not exist.
Date and correct the page
Every page carries a review date. Material vendor changes trigger a new review, and correction requests are handled under the Atlas corrections policy.
Evidence labels
What each statement means.
- Published capability
- The vendor describes the capability on a current first-party public page reviewed on the date shown.
- Not found on pages reviewed
- We did not find the detail in the listed public evidence. The vendor may still provide it privately or under a different package.
- Different job
- The product solves a materially different operational problem and should not be counted as equivalent coverage.
- Needs buyer validation
- Depth, jurisdiction fit, service levels, implementation, security or commercial terms cannot be established from public copy alone.
Comparison evidence
Record what is published. Mark what is still unproven.
Each comparison records the reviewed claims, date and evidential limit. A vendor page can establish stated scope; it cannot establish implementation quality, accuracy or customer fit.

Corrections and independence
Atlas is a participant, not a neutral observer.
These pages are published by Atlas. They are intended to make product evaluation more precise, but they should be read with that commercial interest in mind.
We do not accept payment for placement or rank vendors with an invented composite score. A material factual correction is dated and applied under the published corrections process.
